This policy explains what information Taki AI Assistant (“Taki,” “we,” “us”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Taki is operated by Christopher Nelson Barlow. Questions? Email Taki AI Support.

The short version: Taki keeps as much as possible on your device. We only send what's needed to answer a request, we never sell your data, we don't use it for advertising, and we don't track you across other apps or websites.

1. Information we collect

We collect the following only to make the app work and personalize your experience. It's linked to your account or device identifier so we can meter usage and provide features.

Account / device IDTo authenticate you, meter credits, prevent fraud, and keep your subscription in sync.
Purchase recordsTo manage your subscription and grant the credits you paid for.
Network (IP) addressLogged for security, fraud prevention, and enforcing our Terms of Service.

5. Data retention

Most requests are processed in real time and aren't retained after your answer is delivered. We do store account and credit information, feedback, and any alerts you create for as long as your account is active. You can ask us to delete this at any time.

Safety exception: to keep Taki safe and lawful, our automated safety systems may flag and retain messages that appear to involve illegal or seriously harmful activity, together with related device and network (IP) information. Such retained messages are reviewed by us only if your account is flagged for repeated violations, and may be used to enforce our Terms of Service (including suspending or permanently banning accounts, devices, and IP addresses).

6. Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), and account data is stored on secured infrastructure. No method is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

7. Children

Taki is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA, including to access, correct, or delete your data. To exercise them, contact us.
